What will I do?

Build it. Fly it.
Get the data back.

Students dive into CAD, 3D printing, soldering, programming, electronics, and much more as they develop the fundamental skills needed to build real space hardware.

We have opened our new NearSpace Education facility and makerspace, equipped with advanced manufacturing and STEM tools including laser scanners, laser cutters, pick and place machines, CNC machines, 3D printers, microelectronics stations, soldering stations, and more. Students will learn to use this equipment as they explore aerospace, engineering, and satellite concepts.

All leading up to a high altitude balloon launch where students fly their own experiments into the stratosphere. It is a hands on and unforgettable experience that brings real space exploration to life.
