Earth's horizon from the edge of space

About

Every student,
access to space.

A 501(c)3 nonprofit from Upland, Indiana.

Our story

Formed in 2020.

NearSpace Education was formed in 2020, separating itself from NearSpace Launch, a CubeSat manufacturer with a proven flight heritage since 2014. With a 100% success rate for all commercial and research missions, along with 100+ satellites and 900+ subsystems deployed in orbit, our partnership gives us the ability to provide every student with access to space.

NSE aims to integrate the innovative space technology developed by NearSpace Launch into the classroom. Our programs and curriculum are developed for teachers with the goal to INSPIRE, EQUIP, and IMPACT the future STEM workforce. We do this through our variety of Space Camps, Aerospace Clubs, nation wide Dream Big Program, and ongoing curriculum development.
